The buzz: They’ve kept us waiting long enough, but Siam Center has now welcomed one of America’s largest retailers of lingerie, beauty products and accessories to its first floor. A little sadly, though, the store is not putting the focus on lingerie; instead only offering accessories and beauty products like body mists and their own makeup line. You can expect a few basic underwear choices, but nothing too fancy or titillating.

The décor: Following the beauty and accessories store protocol, the venue’s dark wooden walls and shelves are illuminated by two LCD screens and bright pink spotlights, which shine on the products. The accessories are stacked and divided into categories. Upon entering the store, you’re welcomed by their perfumes and scents, placed on a dark countertop, with lit platforms for each perfume. The floor resembles a washed out black and white chessboard, with marble tiles. Photos of angels are framed and hung on the walls, with even bigger ones behind the dark cashier corner.

The goods: The basic underwear goes for B410 per piece and five for B1,290. There’s much more range when it comes to scents, though: everything is available, here, as if you were in a US store. Favorites like the Pure Seduction and Love Spell are available in body mists, eau de toilette, and lotions for B540. They offer a large variety of luggage bags in leopard (B8,800), VS’s signature pink stripes (almost everything is available in this design) and other funky prints. We love their cosmetic bags, which also come in various prints and sizes, from hard exteriors to soft flexible ones (B810). Our pick would be the signature pink stripes with a splash of glitter (B810) in size M.

Why you’ll be back: Their scents and fragrances are popular, and for good reason. There’s also the enticing prospect of new jewelry collections and cosmetic lines making it an ideal place to shop for gifts for your female friends.
