It’s time to seriously consider the move from Thonglor to Ari. The parade of new coffee shops and restaurants aside, the shopping scene on this one-kilometer street is quickly making it a fashion destination.

 

Take the recently opened Gloc, a new multi-label store by Padcha “Jun Jun” Poonpiriya, an indie-movie actress who’s also a fashion writer for The Standard.

 

Gloc features local items at affordable prices, such as the Insta-famous pleated bucket bag (B1,890) from Rya Boutique and quality swimwear (B1,590) from Water&Others. Gloc will also sell a selection of international brands arriving in Bangkok for the first time, including luxury sleepwear from Sleepy Jones, and nylon shopping bags from Baggu.
