Zambrero
Having expanded to some 50 branches in their native Australia, Zambrero makes its first international move.
This Mexican chain from down under is armed with a small quick-service menu. Start off with some nachos or the spicy marinated fried chicken with lime pickle and coconut flakes (which is a special dish only for Thailand). Or go even larger with the 480g burrito. All protein options (beef, chicken, and pork) are cooked sous-vide to ensure moistness and maximum flavors. There is also a selection of traditional dressings and condiments such as red chili, chipotle and an assortment of salsas.
Here's a new Mexican option with a different back-story. Having expanded to some 50 branches in their native Australia, Zambrero makes its first international move, opening a store in Bangkok, in CentalWorld.
Armed with a small Mexican quick-service menu along with soft drinks, the bold Australian chain is not afraid to add signature twists as with their rather sweet guacamole.
Start off with some nachos (B169) or the spicy marinated fried chicken with lime pickle and coconut flakes (B69, a special dish only for Thailand). You can go even larger with the 480g burrito (B189). There is also a selection of traditional dressings and condiments such as red chilli, chipotle and an assortment of salsas.
All protein options (beef, chicken, and pork) are cooked sous-vide to ensure moistness and maximum flavors. Mexican-loving locals and expats will no doubt be eager to see how this new Aussie import compares with Bangkok's best Mexican spots in town.
