This Asoke opening brings something a little different to Bangkok’s suit-central. From the outside, the only indicator that it is not, in fact, a tailor’s shop is the pink neon light that shines from within. Indeed, the bar pays homage to its former 40-year history as a tailor shop with on-theme decor like sewing machines, hangers and mannequins, all awash with neon light, creating a strong party vibe. A nightly live band provides the ‘90s and ‘00s soundtrack for the beer buffet (B399, Mon-Thu) at the ground floor bar or a Blue Hawaii cocktail (B280) in the chilled upstairs seating area.
