Snapper
Sukhumvit's long-running New Zealand fish and chips specialist.
Formerly of Sukhumvit Soi 11, this casual spot specializes in sustainably fished New Zealand seafood.
Choose from five types of fish to go in your fish and chips, from tender, mild-flavored Southern Hake (B270) to mild and moist Snapper (B390)—choose to have yours freshly-crumbed before being fried, or lightly batter-fried.
Chips come standard or steak-cut (B120-160), and there are also hand-cut fries with skin on (B150) or sweet potato fries (B160) with sweet chili sauce and sour cream.
Away from the deep-fried goodness, you will also find a menu brimming with easy bites like garlic-marinated NZ green lip mussels (B220) and tuna tartare (B390), as well as burgers, pastas and grilled meats. Can’t make up your mind? Sharing platters start at B890.
New Zealand’s Tuatara beer (from B240) headlines the lengthy drink menu, with standard cocktails from B200 and house white from just B130.
