Siam Proud is a new Thai family restaurant that claims to serve recipes handed down from generation to generation. 

 

The homey setting comes complete with a welcoming front lawn (think Sukhumvit Soi 39’s Kram) where you can try Central and Southern dishes like yum pla foo (spicy and crispy fish salad, B145), kang kua poo bai chaploo (roasted crab curry with piperales, B295) and pla tord sauce namplaa (fried fish with fish sauce, B395).

 

Finish off your meal with itim kati sod song krueng (homemade coconut milk ice cream, B65). They also host cooking workshops.
