For 10 years now, M.L. Orapim Sridhavaj has been serving coffee in what is pretty much a library (featuring mostly travel and design books). Before every street in Bangkok had cafes, Ristretto was the place that most coffee aficionados slunk off to—and that means their coffee (B60) has never been of the syrupy variety found elsewhere. They use their own blends. The café will be closed for renovations soon, though, so do call ahead.
