This tiny kaiseki restaurant is one of the best in town. According to the Japanese omakase style of eating, most diners entrust their entire meal to the able hands of the chef, who prepares a lavish succession of small, beautiful dishes for them. In fact, chefs from other restaurants can often be seen on the other side of the bar, too, rubbing shoulders with Japanese expats for Maru’s fresh, perfectly cut sushi.
