Remember the crazy three-hour queues that welcomed the opening of the first branch at Paragon? Well, this is still our favorite doughnut in town. The appearance is appealing, if a little uniform, with a layer of hard icing coating the perfectly formed ring. Perhaps not surprisingly, then, the initial taste is a heap of sweetness but the actual texture of the doughnut is very light, with buttery notes. There's hardly any aftertaste of oil making it very easy to have two—or three.
