Set in the dog-friendly Ozono mall, Harmonica may seem an unlikely hub for Bangkok’s DIY music scene, but from one glance at the amazing record collection that lines the wall, you know they take what they do very seriously. Owner Put (who also performs as a solo guitarist under the name Wednesday) is adamant that Harmonica is a live music venue and not a club, hence the restricted opening hours. The small stage here has played host to interesting international acts like loop pedal whiz-kid Dustin Wong, as well as countless local artists—many of whom got their start here.
