Hands and Heart
Hand-brewed coffee in a super-minimalist setting.
This black-and-white cafe has a thing for Japan. The minimalist decor takes its cues from Teshima Art Museum, in Kagawa prefecture, while the coffee is focused on the hand-brewed stuff (Aeropress, pour-over and Chemex) beloved of patient Japanese baristas. They claim to use only seasonal AA-grade single origin beans (which they roast up themselves in Phra Khanong). As befitting the decor, black coffee (Colombia, Kenya, Thailand) comes in a white cup, and white (from Roots) in a black cup.
With its minimalist black-and-white decor inspired by Teshima Art Museum, in Japan's Kagawa prefecture, Hands and Heart is serious about hand-brewed coffee (Aeropress, pour-over and Chemex), which they say is made only from seasonal AA-grade single origin beans.
In keeping with the decor, they serve their black coffee (Colombia, Kenya, Thailand) in a white cup, and their white coffee (from partner cafe Roots) in a black cup.
You can also order homemade pastries such as charcoal croissant (B80) and cheesecake brownie (B120), while herbal juices are B60.
