The latest dessert cafe to dip into its Thai roots is Cher Cheeva, tucked away in DD Mall, right opposite the sprawling Chatuchak Market.

Amid a veritable jungle of dangling greenery, the cafe serves a line of bite-sized, flavor-packed Thai treats, such as kanom gluay (steamed banana cake, B15/piece) and kanom pra pai (B80), chewy balls of flour in a rainbow of colors thanks to jasmine water, pandan juice and butterfly pea juice, filled with smooth bean curd.
