Buzz: Celebrating its 162nd birthday, and sixth year in Thailand, Kiehl’s has given its first store here, in Siam Paragon, a total revamp in a brand new space.

Décor: Forget the old, pop-up-like shop, as Kiehl’s new concept boutique takes its design cues from its flagship store in New York. The retro space is padded out with wooden floors, brick walls and industrial furniture in the form of metal chairs and cabinets, livened up with bold-colored wallpaper and neon lights. Newer products are displayed on a table at the shop’s center. 

Goods: Men’s natural skincare products like facial and body cream, sunscreen, lip balm and anti-aging serums. Expect to find all of Kiehl’s signature products here before they are stocked elsewhere, including the anti-aging Powerful Strength Line Reducing Concentrate (B3,000), the Clearly Corrective Dark Spot Solution (B2,600) and the Ultra Light Daily UV Defense SPF50 (B1,300). 

Why you’ll be back: Although prices are quite high, it’s a fair trade-off considering the brand’s famed “dermatologist-tested” products. The staff are happy to dole out advice, too. Nutthachai Bunluthangthum
